What is the Business Wi-Fi Booster?
The Commander Business Wi-Fi Booster (TP Link HX510) is a mesh device that is built to eliminate dead zones and to provide uninterrupted Wi-Fi throughout your premises. It will enable devices in your network to have faster speeds, greater coverage, and a more reliable connection.

This device is designed for indoor use only. Place the device in a central location to the area you want to cover for the best Wi-Fi performance.
- The device should not be located in a place where it will be exposed to moisture or excessive heat.
- Place the device in a location where it can be connected to multiple devices as well as to a power source.
- Make sure the cables and power cord are safely placed out of the way so they do not create a tripping hazard.
- Keep the device away from devices with strong lectromagnetic interference, such as Bluetooth devices, cordless phones and microwaves.
- The device can be placed on a shelf or desktop.

- Do not expose your device or its accessories to open flames.

What are the Pairing Instructions?
PAIR USING CABLE
- Place the Business Wi-Fi Booster next to your Commander Business Modem.
- Ensure that the Commander Business Modem is connected to the Internet.
- Connect the Business Wi-Fi Booster to power, switch on.
- Plug the yellow RJ45 ethernet cable (supplied with the Business Wi-Fi Booster) into a free ethernet port on the back of the Commander Business Modem, and the other end into the Business Wi-Fi Booster WAN/LAN port.
- Allow 2 minutes for the Business Wi-Fi Booster to download information from Commander Business Modem, verify the status LED (on the bottom of the device) is flashing blue to confirm it is in pairing mode. (If not, factory reset the device insert a straightened paper clip or similarly shaped object into the small hole marked with the reset at the back of the device and hold for at least five (5) seconds. If you are still having trouble, please call our friendly tech support team on 13 70 90 (Option 3).
- After completing the configuration of the first device, the LED will be white or green. You can now unplug the Business Wi-Fi Booster and move it to your desired location, you can also choose to add more mesh devices to extend Wi-Fi coverage.
- To add more Business Wi-Fi Boosters to your premise, follow from Step 4 replacing your Commander Business Modem to the first Business Wi-Fi Booster.
SET UP THE NETWORK VIA TP-LINK AGINET APP
- Download the Aginet App
You can easily set up and manage your network through the Aginet app. - Search for Aginet on the Apple app Store or Google Play.
- Open the Aginet app and log in with your TP-Link ID.
Note: This step is optional. If you don’t have an account, you may choose to create a TP-Link ID, or simply manage your device without it. For a better experience we recommend you create an account. - Set up your network, select "Create a Network" in the Aginet app then choose "Connect via Ethernet Cable". Follow the steps to complete the setup and connect to the internet.
- After completing the configuration of the first device, you can choose to add more mesh devices to extend Wi-Fi coverage.
SET UP THE NETWORK VIA A WEB BROWSER
- Connect your Laptop/PC/Mobile phone to the mesh device wirelessly or with an Ethernet cable. The default wireless network name (SSID) and password are printed on the product label at the bottom of the mesh device.
- Launch a web browser, and enter http://tplinkwifi.net or http://192.168.88.1 in the address bar. Create your own login password and log in to the device.
Need a hand?
- If the computer is set to a static IP address, change its settings to obtain an IP address automatically.
- Make sure http://tplinkwifi.net is correctly entered in the web browser.
- Use another web browser and try again.
- Reboot your device and try again.
- Disable then enable the network adapter being used.
Follow the Quick Setup instructions to set up your network. Contact Technical Support on 13 70 90 (Option 3) if pairing is unsuccessful.
What if signal strength is poor?
You will have to relocate the Business Wi-Fi Booster closer to the Commander Business Modem. Strong signal strength will show a solid white light, medium signal will show a blue solid light and a red light shows poor signal strength.
What do I do if I am having issues?
Reset the device and allow a few minutes for it to reconfigure, this will most likely fix the issue. To reset the Business Wi-Fi Booster, insert a straightened paper clip or similarly shaped object into the small hole marked with the reset icon underneath the device and hold for ten (10) seconds. Re-attempt pairing using the “Wired” instructions after you have completed a reset. If you are still having trouble, please call our friendly tech support team on 132 777
